Getting Started

Set up Monivera and log your first transaction in under five minutes.

Download the app

Monivera is available on iOS and Android. Search for Monivera in the App Store or Google Play and install it.

Create your account

Open the app and tap Sign up. Enter your email and a password. You’ll be signed in immediately — no email verification required.

Set your budget

On first launch, the onboarding screen asks for two things:

  • Base currency — the currency your budgets and totals will display in.
  • Budget start day — the day of the month your budget resets (usually 1 or your pay day).

Tap Continue when done.

Add your first transaction

Tap the + button on the dashboard. You have two entry methods:

Manual — type the amount, merchant, and category.

Bank alert paste — copy a bank notification from your messages and paste it into the text field on the AI entry screen. Monivera extracts the amount, merchant, and date automatically. Review the parsed values, assign a category, then save.

Set a budget

Go to Settings → Budget Settings. Enter a total monthly amount and, optionally, a recurring sub-budget for fixed bills (rent, subscriptions, utilities). You can also allocate amounts per category.

That’s it — your dashboard is live.
